Well, like Emily, I was gifted with a free day and have nothing really to report. renewed my drivers licence, sat at a computer, played basketball...

I did fish red this weekend in the fridged cold. fishing was slow but the schnapps helped and we still had enough for a fish fry (fish, not schnapps). I had chocolate pie for breakfast on sunday.

to tell ya the truth, I'm loving the cold. now, if we could just get some snow, I'd be skiing in no time with beardsicles to prove it. actually, we probably have enough to ski on the lakes at least. maybe tomorrow.

Now I'm going home to have venison (probably cold) and read angels and demons. when exactly should I stop that book in order to not be disappointed with the ending?
